I wanted to write something about the latest lot but ***there are too many***
And that’s not including the consultations – like this latest one on the local government restructure for Cambridgeshire!
The ones in my open tabs list for today include:
- The State of Intergovernmental Relations in England
- Progress and Pressure: Understanding economic and social change in England’s neighbourhoods
- Housing, health and economic growth: can we negotiate towards a healthier future?
- What Citizenship Education Really Does for Democracy: Insights from New National Research
- Creating connections: The role of arts in bridging divides and bringing communities together
- UK Infrastructure: A 10 Year Strategy
- Young Futures Hubs: Building blocks to brighter futures
- Not so nimby after all?
Also I wanted to read through this from the mid-1980s: “Professionalism and policy : the role of the professions in the central-local government relationship”. Only it covers road repairs and housing services.
Then there was also the news about the Greater Cambridge Partnership passing its final gateway review. Which means they’ll get the go-ahead for their controversial busways. Don’t be surprised if the works generate protests – especially at Coton Orchard.
And there’s more from previous days
- How legacy development principles can help deliver the Government’s housing targets and make better places
- Loneliness Monetisation report (re-read)
- Improving local areas through developer funding – NAO Report
I need to get out more!
