The few people who signed up have been refunded – my apologies for the inconvenience.

I couldn’t take the risk with the costs of printouts and room booking taking me too close to the £100 mark, so I’ll reschedule for when it’s warmer outside.

“When are we going to have a Cambridge Societies Fair that’s not just restricted to volunteering?”

I’ve spent the past decade asking (the latest one being here) and have got nowhere, but you might have better luck than me in persuading your councillors (see https://www.writetothem.com/ ) especially with the city council elections coming up in three months time.

Any council candidates want to include a commitment to fund an annual societies fair?

Alternatively some of you may have better luck challenging the business communities via the Cambridge Pledge at https://www.cambridge-pledge.org/
