Beehive Centre Redevelopment, Coldham’s Lane, Cambridge

Several of you have asked about the consultation boards, which I’ve taken photos of and have uploaded to this blogpost.

The media representatives for the developers are Four Communications, so any views on what’s on the boards, please email them to projectotter [@] fourcommunications [dot] com ***Alternatively*** email your local councillor https://www.writetothem.com/

I’m also aware many existing shoppers at both the Beehive Centre & Cambridge Retail Park live outside Cambridge. You can email your local councillor and ask them to get your local council to make representations to the developers on your behalf (again via https://www.writetothem.com/). In fact, it is just as important that shoppers living outside of Cambridge do so – especially those of you who rely on the food retailers that charge lower prices in the face of the present cost-of-living crisis.

Anyway, here are the boards.

A reminder:

Note there were also transport issues that didn’t seem to be covered in much depth. You can raise these in the new Local Transport Plan Consultation at https://yourltcp.co.uk/ which is ongoing.

If you are interested in the longer term future of Cambridge, and on what happens at the local democracy meetings where decisions are made, feel free to:
